Brian Caldwell-Barr
Owner
With over 50 years of experience in landscaping and horticulture, Brian Caldwell-Barr is the heart of Applejacks Landscaping & Gardening Services. He was one of the first professionals to join Which? Trusted Trader and has been endorsed by them since 2014, Brian has built a reputation across Kent for meticulous attention to detail and his friendly, expert advice.

He is an avid animal lover caring for 9 rescue dogs, including Bob, the "true" boss to our operations.
​
Brian is joined on-site by his grandson, Cody, who is working closely by his side to master the trade. Brian is currently mentoring him and passing down his decades of specialized knowledge, ensuring that the business remains in capable hands as he prepares to eventually leave the company to his grandson.​

Cody is a vital part of the Applejacks team, driven by a deep-rooted passion for horticulture and arboriculture. Being mentored by his grandfather Brian, Cody is inheriting a wealth of traditional knowledge and a "do it right the first time" work ethic that defines the Applejacks legacy.

He takes particular pride in his hedge cutting and shaping, where his sharp eye for detail ensures every line is crisp and every garden is left looking its absolute best.
To further his expertise, Cody is currently working toward his professional tree surgery qualifications, combining years of family-taught skills with the latest industry techniques.

A true animal lover, Cody is rarely spotted without a furry companion by his side. He is incredibly proud to be continuing the family business and is dedicated to providing the high-quality care your green spaces deserve.

Senior Supervisor
Bob, on the other hand, is our resident enthusiast. Though his "gardening" techniques mostly involve rubble management and supervising tea breaks, he’s the real love of Brian's life (just don’t tell Brian's wife!).
Together, they ensure every project is completed with a smile, a wagging tail, and the highest professional standards.
As a proud supporter of Guardian Angels Dog Rescue, the trio brings a personal, family-focused, and animal-loving touch to every garden they transform.
